Fighting Fear

Each time i slept, i was swallowing it, until it was swallowing me. then a day came, where it had wolfed me whole. Eyes, lungs, limbs, the bark of a tongue, and there fear stood like a course of sharp , strong lightening. Thin as a blade, stern as a whistle and with each sharp bite, i was alert, back straightened and ready to dance. Then a day came i was ready to fight. (Otatade Okojie)
